The United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County Charitable Campaign, “Serving Our Vibrant Community”is currently underway. OLLU is once again involved in this philanthropic effort to help build a strong, compassionate community and collectively come together to tackle Bexar County’s complex challenges.

In 2018, the OLLU community contributed more $27,000 to United Way with a 74% employee participation rate and an average donation of $88 per person. OLLU ranked number one in employee participation among the San Antonio Higher Education workplace employee campaigns. Since the OLLU community is known for its strong commitment to service and community, retaining this top ranking this year and continuing to make a positive impact on improving lives for generations to come are imperative.

To be supportive of OLLU’s sustainability initiative, employees are asked to make donations online using the United Way E-Pledge portal at giveuw.org/OLLU. Employees should use their OLLU email address as the “user ID” and their employee ID number as the password. Once signed in, employees will be prompted to create a new password prior to making a donation. There will also be an option to designate pledges to a specific impact partner on the E-Pledge drop down menu. Those who are unable to make a pledge electronically have the option of using a paper pledge form and specify Impact Partners. Paper pledge forms should be returned to Mary Scotka in Providence Hall, Room 2C.
