Update on Thanksgiving Potluck and Staff Christmas party
The Staff Advisory Council has been working with President’s Council to review the results of the Staff Employee Fringe Benefits Survey that was administered at the beginning of the fall semester. While reviewing the results, both groups noticed that the majority of those who responded desired to have employee celebrations during the lunch hour. After several conversations and looking at available dates, the decision was made that the best way to accommodate the desire to hold events during the day was to combine the Thanksgiving potluck and the Christmas party and hold them as one luncheon. The luncheon will take place on Friday, Nov. 22, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Additionally, President’s Council has authorized for all offices to be closed from 12-1:30 p.m. so all staff members can attend the luncheon.
