OLLU changing login requirements

Posted on September 11, 2022 by OLLUNewsletter

OLLU is implementing changes to login requirements for several university technology services. The changes will result in a more frequent need to verify your login identity with more than just your password. Students, faculty, staff and other OLLU account users who are not logging in from one of the OLLU internal campus networks will be required to verify their identity using both their password and a second form of proof. This login process is called multifactor authentication (“MFA”; sometimes also referred to as two-factor authentication).

The new multifactor authentication login restrictions will go into effect on Sept. 21.
