The women’s basketball team defeated the University of the Southwest 90-76 on Thursday evening. The win moves the Saints to 9-1 in the Red River Athletic Conference and 18-2 overall, while Southwest drops to 1-11 in conference and 3-14 overall. The Saints are tied for first place with Wiley College (9-1/19-2) and are one game ahead of LSU-Shreveport (8-2/15-5). The Saints remained No. 10 in this week’s NAIA Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Top 25 Poll, while Wiley stayed at No. 12. LSU-Shreveport improved to No. 24 after debuting last week at No. 25. OLLU to hold cheer clinic for children, ages 6-12
The Saints Cheer Team will hold the “Lil’ Saints Cheer Clinic” on Feb. 15 for children ages 6-12 years old. After the morning-long clinic, the aspiring cheerleaders will have the opportunity to perform during halftime of the Saints men’s basketball game that begins at 7:30 p.m. Download Flyer and Registration Form here. The clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in OLLU’s University Wellness and Activities Center (UWAC). The fee per child is $35. OLLU hosting National Hispanic College Fair tomorrow
OLLU will be hosting the National Hispanic College Fair on campus on Tuesday from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in Mabee Gymnasium. More than 37 colleges and universities have registered to attend. This is the fifth year that OLLU has hosted the college fair.
To accommodate guests, Parking Lot C (near the tennis courts) will be blocked off from 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Due to limited staff, the Assessment Center hours have been temporarily changed to the following:
- Monday – 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Tuesday – 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Wednesday – 2-7 p.m.
- Thursday – 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Friday – 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Saturday – 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Learn socially responsible investing tips
OLLU alumna Sister Susan Mika, OSB, founder of the Benedictine Coalition for Responsible Investment and Rev. Seamus Finn, OMI, director of the U.S. Oblate Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation Ministry and the Chief of Faith Consistent Investing for the OIP Investment Trust, will present, “Socially Responsible Investment: Respect, Dignity and Profit,” Thursday at 7 p.m. at Texas Lutheran University.
Participants from the OLLU community who register for this event with Center for Women in Church and Society at kgibson@ollusa.edu by Tuesday will be provided with transportation.
Help raise money for OLLU students and enjoy some Cajun-inspired fun at ‘Down on the Bayou’
The Division of Mission and Ministry and the Congregation of Divine Providence are teaming up to host “Down on the Bayou,” Feb. 15 from 6-10 p.m. in Chapel Auditorium.
The night of Cajun food, music, dancing and a silent auction will raise money to help OLLU students who will be making a pilgrimage to France to follow in the footsteps of Fr. John Martin Moye, founder of the Congregation of the Sisters of Divine Providence.
Tickets are $75 per person or $500 for a table of eight.

1098T now available online
The 1098T, also known as the “Tuition Payment Statement,” is now available for students online at http://www.1098T.com. The 1098T form is the information that colleges and universities are required to issue to students for the purpose of determining their eligibility for the Hope and Lifetime Learning education tax credits when filing their annual tax returns.
For those who elected to receive a paper copy of their 1098T, they will be printed and mailed by Jan. 31.
Any questions about the information contained in the 1098T form can be answered by calling the call center at 877-467-3821.
OLLU-The Woodlands students receive scholarship
Michelle Alvarez, Keri Margraves and Roderic Moses, students at the OLLU-The Woodlands campus, have been awarded a $250 scholarship by Lone Star College-University Center.
The students will be awarded their scholarships during the Presidential Scholars Dinner and Awards Ceremony at Lone Star College-Montgomery on March 24.
Employees can now access their W-2 online
OLLU employees will now have the ability to access their W-2 online on the myOLLU Portal. In order to access their W-2 online, employees must give their consent via the online form located within WebAdvisor under “Employee Profile.” The W-2 can be viewed and printed.
Employees who consent to access their W-2 online will not receive a paper copy next year. Employees can change their consent at any time.
