Las Posadas to be held Friday evening

OLLU’s 38th annual Las Posadas will take place Friday beginning at 6 p.m. Las Posadas is a re-enactment of Mary and Joseph’s search for lodging in Bethlehem on the eve of the birth of Jesus.

The procession will begin at Annunciation Chapel and continue to the steps of the Convent Building, Main Building and Moye Hall. It will conclude with a celebration in Chapel Auditorium featuring entertainment and refreshments.

Las Posadas to be held Dec. 3

The OLLU community is invited to attend Las Posadas, a prayer service and re-enactment of the journey of Mary and Joseph searching for lodging in Bethlehem, on Dec. 3. The event will take place in front of the Annunciation Chapel beginning at 6 p.m. Afterward, a reception will be held in Chapel Auditorium, which will include entertainment, pan dulce, tamales and hot chocolate. 

Las Posadas is free and open to the public.
