‘March for Justice’ press conference set for Wednesday on Chapel steps

The Cesar Chavez Legacy and Educational Foundation (CCLEF) will hold a “March for Justice” press conference on the front steps of Sacred Heart Conventual Chapel at 10 a.m. on Wednesday.

The theme for the 28th annual Cesar E. Chavez March for Justice is “Let the Spirit Flourish and Grow.” The march will begin at 9 a.m. on March 23 at the corner of South Brazos and Guadalupe Street, next to the Guadalupe Theater. 

Last year’s march featured he Castro family – alumna and former City Councilwoman Rosie Castro (BA 1971, 1975), Congressman Joaquin Castro and former U.S. Housing Secretary Julián Castro – as Grand Marshals.
